I woke up with my muscles soundly in protest to the amount of exercise I had gotten since I had woken up from my coma like state. Well I say coma like state only because of my inability to well...do anything. In reality I was chained down from within my soul space. Slowly I opened my eyes and sat up from my bed. I looked over to a picture on my desk. An old photograph of Miyuki, her Mother and me on one of the nights we had gone out to dinner. It had been something we did when my Uncle and Miyuki's Father were gone for work. It was a rare occurrence but...it was some of the best memories I had. At the corner beside the window sat a tall and stern figure whose appearance was a strange contrast at such place. The pale yellow lamplight shone upon his silver metallic-like body, reflecting a soft luster. The tops of two towering pearl-white wings behind him shadowed his gentle statue-like face a little, like clouds covering the edge of the cold-colored moon. His emerald optics were fixing upon the pages of the paperback novel at his hand.
"Do you mind if I sit here?" A hoarse voice asked.
"Not at all, Beelzebub." Metatron said, looking unsurprisingly at his visitor. "Just have a seat."
